A small, family-run farm in the Douro with centuries of history. In 1808, French troops belonging to Brigadier General Loison, the “Maneta”, were stationed there during the first Napoleonic invasion.
The quinta is called dos Poços, because when the rainfall in the region is intense, multiple water springs spring up in its soil.
Spread over 25 hectares of schist soils, we produce wine in small quantities, thus guaranteeing our quality and premium service. Our grapes are handpicked and treated with dedication and love by our estate workers, who are part of our family.
Each bottle of our wine carries with it a year's harvest, work, dedication and the Douro.
